Date change on Stags Leap Wine Dinner
scheduled for Wednesday May 22nd. Kind of a kickoff to the
Summer season. Fabulous wines by a unique winemaker. We will be pairing

My Two Cents.....
We recently started posting information relative to our "healthier"
menu options. Italian food has been derided as being generally fat filled and
unhealthy. I must tell you, however, that if you visit Italy, they do not
partake in our love of frying, baking and melted cheese dishes. This is a
purely American concoction as far as they're concerned. Many Italian dishes are
made of simple and fresh ingredients without too much fanfare (as far as
overcooking and over-cheesing is concerned) and are very healthy indeed!
A meditteranean sea bass ( Branzino ) is made the same way we do here. Roasted,
filletted and dressed with a moderate amount of fine virgin olive oil, lemon
and herbs. No big secret. It happens to be our biggest seller, recently
displacing veal ala Dante from the number one spot. We offer many
healthier options for those of you who are taking better care of
yourselves. And, of course, everything is freshly made to your
order!

claimed that such and such a restaurant had "authentic" Italian
dishes, then referred to the sauce and cheese covered Chicken; you now know is
authentic "Italian American" Theres no such dish in Italy...anywhere!
