If you book for late dinner,  after 9PM,  Friday night Jazz or Saturday night show with Julian & Dominique,we'll serve you 1/2 price drinks as your reward. No Kidding! Seems that the Skyway closing city bound after the Superbowl is still on schedule. We're not hearing anything about this and the deadline is approaching. This is a very troubling issue and we implore you to reach out to DOT,  county and state decision makers on this matter. It will subject Jersey City and locales to horrible traffic and will ultimately keep business away from our doorsteps.  If you're ever tempted to write a nice review about us on "Yelp" and have no history of reviews with them…well, don't bother. Their filters will automatically remove these reviews, but ironically, seem to leave negative ones regardless of their history.  If you have something nice to say about us check out TripAdvisor,  Citysearch, OpenTable ( if you reserve thru them, they send a review email) and many other sites in which we are listed. Seems Yelp doesn't like "newbies" on their site. The sidewalks are being redone in this area. Could get a little dicey for street parking, but we have a lot and valets so don't fret!. A good customer told me that he couldn't get some of his Somerset neighbors to come up with him to see us in Jersey City. He always has a great time here and wanted to share "his place". Many Jersey "Burbers" view Jersey City or New Brunswick, or for that matter, NYC,  as places they would rather not visit. This was very sad to hear. These folks miss out on good food and entertainment here and elsewhere because of preconceived notions. Too bad! A shout out to Julian & Dominque! Came by last weekend on their night off to sit and listen to Mark & Ted.  As it would happen, Julian got up and did an impromptu duet with Ted. They were wonderful!

What are "Stuzzichini" or "Tapas"

Small plates generally served in an informal fashion in a cocktail party or lounge setting. We are introducing this concept in our bar and lounge area for those of you expressing a desire to "have a little something" with your cocktail or wine. Again, these are meant to give more than a taste of a favorite item and still try another item without overindulging. 

I'm a fan of picking on many different foods when I eat so this is right up my alley. A Sicilian meatball, sausage bruschetta, a few pieces of Calamari and a glass of red wine. Sounds delicious? Well, come in on Friday afternoon Happy Hour as we introduce this concept and it will remail on our bar menu daily.
