It's been a tough
two weeks for all. Thanksgiving is next week,
November 22, and although New Jersey and Jersey City have taken a big hit this
year, we are still thankful for the blessings we've received.
Please join us
for a traditional Thanksgiving meal here at Casa Dante. We serve from 1pm till
9pm and provide everything you need to make this holiday special. We've held
prices at 2009 levels, so please come with your families and enjoy the day with
us!
We have all been
through quite alot of heartache. But Casa Dante is up and running. Now we
just need you, our patrons to get back into the swing of things.
These are
schedule changes and reminders:
- Stags Leap Wine Dinner on Thursday, December
13th.
Hurricane Sandy disrupted our plans for this wonderful Wine Dinner, but we
will not give in or give up. Please see menu and wines at www.casadante.com/events or call us for details.
A bit of Jazz background by Danny Bacher; Great wines and food
items not found on our menus. Call in for a spot.
- Christmas
Eve Dinner A yearly tradition here at Casa Dante. The
full menu is offered as well as a Prix Fixe Seven Fish Dinner. Quiet,
comfortable and perfect. A great joy for your family. Serving 4pm till 9pm
- New Years Eve
celebration this year with Julian & Dominique will
provide entertainment. Live feed to Times Square, Great Dinner, Party
Favors, Welcoming cocktail and Champagne toast are included. Limited

- Big Night movie and dinner will be
held on January 18. The menu will soon be posted on our
website events page. Wines and soft beverages will be included.
Gregg will go all out so bring your appetite and watch a great movie as
well.

My Two Cents
A Thanksgiving Wish for our customers
We
here in the northeastern part of the U.S. very rarely feel the forces of nature
as we have in the past two weeks. Sure we've had our share of snow and rain. We
persevere through those issues and hope for warmer winters, as we had last
year, and clearer skies.
But
this was quite a different attack by nature. We are not normally
prone to or comprehend 80 mph winds, rising tides and prolonged power outages.
In addition, sufferring the loss of lives is totally beyond our scope of
understanding. This is stuff that happens " to the rest of the
world", not us!
But
the new "normal" I keep reading about may include such occurences in
the future and we must prepare ourselves. Remain alert to the changing weather
patterns; take heed to those weather people who, unfortunately, may have
cried wolf too many times in the past; stay close to your familes and
appreciate their presence and worth in your life.
Nothing
is guaranteed but lets make the best of today and tomorrow!
We at Casa Dante wish you and your family a Happy
Thanksgiving regardless of "our" circumstances and hope this holiday
season brings you comfort, peace and joy.
