Stags Leap Wine Dinner scheduled for Wednesday
May 22nd. Kind of a kickoff to the Summer season. Fabulous wines by
a unique winemaker. We will be pairing foods to these great offerings.
Please reserve now as there are very limited seatings for a dinner of this
sort. Offered at $95 pp with a four course offering, guest speaker, live

My Two Cents.....
The Skyway issue:
· you may have heard
that the state is considering closing the northbound section of the Pulaski
Skyway for an extended two year period following next years Super Bowl. This
could be a tragic event for businesses in and around Jersey City as well as
Hoboken and Bayonne. The Skyway is a very important conduit for many customers,
residents, suppliers and drive through individuals. It could have a calamitous
affect on traffic throughout this very busy city. Hundreds of thousands of
automobiles currently use this road, or its tributaries weekly and its
elimination could change the course of business in this city. We at
Casa Dante, of course, are very concerned about this. Many of our customers
travel from long distances in New Jersey and New York. Old friends who have
moved but left their hearts in Jersey City could ultimately face the last straw
if the Skyway is inaccessible. Other roads leading here will be severely
strained and even a true-blue Casa Dante fan has his/her limits on travel and
traffic. We implore the DOT to modify this very harsh proposal. We realize that
the heavily used road is in need of repair, But, totally closing the
road ultimately creates larger problems than are being fixed.
