Stags Leap Wine Dinner is set for Thursday, November 8th. Please see menu and wines at www.casadante.com/events or call us for details. A bit of Jazz, great wines and foods not found on our menus. Call in for a spot.
Big Night movie and dinner will be held on December 14. If you've seen the movie, you know the menu. But we'll post it next week.  Wines and soft beverages will be included. Gregg will go all out so bring your appetite and watch a great movie as well.

What's happening to Journal Square?

Anyone who's been in Jersey City of late has seen the tremendous amount of public works project underway in and around Journal Square. Roads are being paved; streets are torn up and pipes being placed; higher volume turnarounds and elevated highways are or have been constructed. Not to mention better lighting, abundant surveillance cameras, higher police presence and community involvement ( which you can't see) in all these areas.
The reason for all this is that Journal Square will be getting a new look over the next few years. More than several large scale developers have projects slated to start in the area. In order to accomodate this new growth the city and state are taking steps now. 
Journal Square, the historical focal point for north Jersey and NYC commuting, business and residence will be reinvigorated to levels never seen. It will be great for business...eventually. But in the meantime we and our neighbors, must bear the growing pains of a vibrant community.
I hope you will not be deterred by this activity. We are excited about this but do not want to lose our long standing and new customers in the process.

But our "friend" page is reserved for my own messages to you...usually involves food.....my friends love these...some of you who have moved to far away places ( Florida, North Carolina, California etc ) really seem to appreciate them.
